FICTION FOR A NEW AGE.

Ours is a world short on hope and heroes; the Superversive literary movement aims to fix that. We, like you, are tired of corporatized pop culture and vapid hypersexualized entertainment full of moral ambiguity. We aim to be part of a greater mission. To offer escapist fiction that should only ever be one thing – an adventure.

CIRSOVA MAGAZINE REVIEWS BODY AND BLOOD

“All-in-all, Body and Blood is an excellent debut novel from Michael Gallagher. It’s a high-octane thriller with an explicitly Christian bent. Maybe I should check out more of those “Priests with guns fighting demons and witches” books? If those are your thing, you should absolutely check this one out.” READ CIRSOVA’S FULL REVIEW HERE

AUTHOR ROY GRIFFIS OFFERS PRAISE FOR BODY AND BLOOD

Roy Griffis, winner of the John Millius Screenwriting Award, recently had this to say about his ARC of Michael Gallagher’s debut novel:

This was a damned (if you’ll pardon the expression) fun read, set in a future earth where the battle between Eternal good and evil no longer takes place in the shadows of the minds of men, but on the streets and in the alleys of a decaying, diseased society.  Mr. Gallagher crafts a unique story of a very muscular Faith in a shooting war with the servitors of Darkness.  While faith is a big part of the characters, it’s a ripping good yarn, too.  There are wonderful and creepy and frightening characters, a tremendous noir sensibility and setting, along with a lot of righteous (in every sense of the term) ass-beating.  Not my usual sort of thing, but the old-school pulp writing lives within Mr. Gallagher.  For a first time novelist, he does a hell of a job of layering in information about the world of the novel without beating you over the head with it.  He saves that for the action scenes, where those details are part of the fun.  If you’re tired of the “Same SciFi, Different Day,” check out Body and Blood.
